We've been at site 2.0 development for some time now. The major problem with the old site was that it took too long to change things. Expanding the portfolio took hours and it wasn't easy to add new content in other areas. The whole thing was in flash; not everyone can use flash and it could take a really long time to load. We also wanted to incorporate a GROK store where we will soon be selling design commodities (such as templates, icons, and our own grok font). However, Martin programmed this wonderful template for our site which now runs everything smoothly on PHP and javascript. This site can be more easily navigated, and does not require that the main part of the site with our portfolio and contact information be separate from other sections.
